| During 12 years as trial judge, Mike presided over trials involving all areas of family law. He heard contested divorces, custody and visitation disputes, child support matters, and domestic violence cases. Mike has represented hundreds of men and women, with the goal of getting the best possible outcome at a reasonable cost. He has successfully helped his clients through the emotional and financial demands of divorce, including resolution of complex property and parenting issues. Mike works to conclude his family cases as efficiently and amicably as possible. When trial is necessary, however, he is an able lawyer whose goal is to aggressively protect the interests of his clients. In addition to his family law practice, Mike currently serves as co-chair of the Family Law Committee of the Madison County Bar Association, and as President of the Board of Directors of Oasis Women's Center. |
